An Associational Purpose Statement
AREA OBJECTIVE
Missions 1. Develop and promote individual, church and associational missions
projects and partnerships.
Evangelism 2. Evangelize and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our associational
area and to the ends of the Earth.
Ministry 3. Minister through Christian love to all persons in our association and
beyond in the wonderful name of Jesus.
Training 4. Train leaders to equip members in Discipleship, Evangelism, Missions,
and Ministry.
Morals 5. Work at bonding our interest in a central moral focus on our
community.
Christian 6. Seek to preserve unity and oneness in our faith, while seeking ways to
Growth edify, redeem, tolerate, trust and love as Christians.
Fellowship 7. Promote unity and fellowship among the pastors and churches of our
association.
Stewardship 8. Promote Christian stewardship to the end that we use our resources for
the advancement of the association and we encourage churches to give
5% to the association.
Church 9. Offer church program support on the associational level to strengthen

10. Involve all Southern Baptist in the work of the association.
