DUTIES OF ASSOCIATIONAL TEAMS
The persons on these teams will serve a three-year term ending after the final session of the Annual Meeting each year.
No member shall be eligible for reelection to a team after serving a full term, until having been off the team for at least a full year. Members may serve a full term after filling an unexpired term.
All captains will be appointed by mutual agreement of the Associational Director of Missions and the Moderator.  Any dispute or disagreement will be settled by a vote of the Executive Board.
All captains will serve on a team as a guiding counsel for the overall associational program with the assistance of the Moderator and Associational Director of Missions.
The Moderator and Associational Director of Missions are ex-officio and voting members of all teams. The Moderator will serve as the permanent captain of the Administrative Team.
When necessary, the Moderator will appoint a Team or Ad Hoc Committee as directed by the Association/Executive Board (Bylaw #8).
(Cap.) = Captain of Team - The Captain will serve a one-year term.
* = Unexpired term - This person is eligible to be reelected to a full term.

SECTION I.   ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM SHALL:
A.   Be composed of three members, each serving a three-year term, one member rotating off each year.
B.   Serve for the association and/or executive board in specific matters delegated or assigned.
C.   Concern itself with any business of the association and/or executive board that is not directly the duty of another team.
D.   Take action as needed in emergencies within the policy framework of the association and executive board.
E.   Report to the association and executive board at regular meetings and at special meetings when appropriate.
F.   Keep the association informed concerning moral conditions in public life and make, as it sees fit, recommendations concerning steps toward Christian action.
G.   Recommend the times, places and preachers for Annual meetings.
H.   Choose among churches giving strong consideration to location based on proximity to the last meeting places around the association.
I.   Work closely with the host church requesting help concerning arrangements.
J.   Develop themes and items of interest for Annual meeting programs.
K.   Study matters pertaining to membership and relationship in the association when referred to it by the Executive Board and/or the association.
L.   Assist in the registration and seating of messengers.   Address any problems arising on the floor regarding seating of messengers, and report to the association and/or executive board.
M.   Moderator shall appoint a team to assist in the counting of votes when necessary to ensure correctness of decisions or motions.
N.   Accept for careful study, rewriting or other action, all resolutions to be presented to the association at the annual meetings, or to the Executive Board.
O.   Keep the constitution, bylaws, and the duties of the associational teams under continual study for needed revisions; and study any proposed changes brought to the floor of the association and make recommendations to the association on the merits of such proposals.
P.   Create and maintain a policies and procedures manual for all associational activities including:   job description, hiring policies, office procedures, etc.
Q.   Request funding from the Financial Team for any special needs.

SECTION II.   FINANCIAL TEAM SHALL:
A.   Be composed of three members each serving a three-year term, one member rotating off each year.   The treasurer shall serve as an ex-officio, voting member.
B.   Prepare an annual budget, and present it to the First Session of the Annual meeting for adoption.
C.   Publicize the causes represented in the associational program and plan to enlist every church in support of the association.
D.   Take appropriate action to adjust to the situation if it shall become apparent, during the year, that anticipated income is going to fall short of the amount needed to cover the budget expenses.   If the rate of giving cannot be increased, then expenditures are to be reduced.
E.   Direct the treasurer to see that a detailed report of all receipts and disbursements are made at executive board meetings and in annual reports.  These reports shall show an analysis of actual cash in the bank and indicate whether receipts are over or under budget requirements.  An analysis of all budgeted items showing budget allocations, and amounts disbursed over or under the allocation for the period to date shall be kept.
F.   Make periodical financial reports to the executive board and to the association.
G.  Make a periodical study of the financial records of the association, and report.
H.   Seek means of promoting stewardship and the Cooperative Program within the association.

SECTION III.  NOMINATING TEAM SHALL:
A.   Be composed of three members each serving a three-year term, one member rotating off each year.
B.   Nominate the heads of organizations and department directors, then report their nominees to the first session each year of the Annual meeting of the association.
C.   Nominate the officers of the association, which shall include:     moderator, assistant moderator, clerk, treasurer, and executive board nominees to the Kentucky Baptist Convention.
D.   Nominate persons to fill vacancies as they occur throughout the year.
E.   Nominate the personnel for the teams (add or delete teams as needed) and present a report to the first session each year of the Annual Meeting of the association.   The Moderator and Associational Director of Missions shall select a captain/chairman of each committee, who will serve a one-year term.


SECTION IV.  MISSIONS AND EVANGELISM TEAM SHALL:
A.   Be composed of three members each serving a three-year term, one member rotating off each year.
B.   Along with the Director of Missions, stimulate interest and mission concern throughout the association.
C.   Assist churches to commit themselves to the associational mission program and promote projects in cooperation with the Kentucky Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention in mission work outside the association.
D.   Lead the association in conducting and evaluating its mission needs, and encourage church participation.
E.   Assist in the location of new missions and/or churches as needed.  
F.   Stimulate interest and evangelistic concern through the association.
G.   Promote simultaneous revivals and other associational revivals when scheduled by the association.
 H.   Coordinate the association's evangelism program in so far as possible with that of Kentucky Baptist and Southern Baptist Conventions.
I.   Coordinate the association's youth activities.
J.   Request funding from the Financial Team for any special needs.  

SECTION V.  PROPERTIES AND PERSONNEL TEAM SHALL:
A.   Be composed of three members each serving a three-year term, one member rotating off each year.  
B.    Persons on this team will function as persons referred to in the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws and identified as the Board of Directors or Trustees.  
C.     Be authorized to hold, purchase, and receive title to real estate and other property by demise, gifts, grant, or other conveyance; to mortgage and to borrow money; and to sell or convey the same or any part, parcel, or portion thereof, when so directed by the association.
D.   Oversee the total insurance plan of the association.
E.   Be restricted to the provisions of the constitution and bylaws both of the corporation and association.
F.   Make periodic reports to the Executive Board and the association as directed.
G.   Assist the Executive Board in selecting, supervising and terminating associational staff personnel.
H.   Act as a liaison between the Executive Board and the associational staff and as a grievance committee for all hired personnel when directed to do so by the Executive Board.
